I Gotta Tell You...Last Week's Class Was For The Birds!!!!

We did this darling little canvas with a cool masking tape technique for our "Birch Trees" art. We masked out the trees, and painted our backgrounds. We removed the tape. Then detailed the trees. And, as you all know, we don't leave well enough alone!!! We added these adorable watercoloured (by me) birds to the trees. So sweet! I love the cute art projects we make in here! Like nothing else anywhere!!

Terrific Tuesday!!

What's That? Do you smell something? Well, We sure do! Today we made scented Sachets! We had a choice of Lavender or Pink Grapefruit! We made these pretty little pillow bags and scented them with essential oils. We also made a Fall bookmark since the girls are doing AR in school. The girls were giddy with all of the dizzy smells! They were split about half and half on which scent they chose. Then....Candy!

Oh, I feel SOOOO Official! We got our new car window stickers just in time for the first class! They have our official "Sorority" design, since we are a big silly sorority! I like to call our little group "Sisters In Creativity"! If you did not pick one up this week, be sure to grab one next time! They're FREE! Whew!!!!!

We had our first meetings this week! This was the first time we ever had our Diva Do's classes start in the first week of school! In honor of the first school week, we made this darling "Apple" dress! I made the dresses, dyed them a chambray blue, and we painted the Granny Smith Green Apples on it in class! The girls did a fabulous job! We finished it off with a scrappy fabric flower pin that we glued, (my fav), colored gem stones on to. I think this is so sweet for this HOT time of the year. So cute with flip flops now, layered over leggings or jeans later.

We based our snack on the apple theme as well. We ate sliced green apples with caramel sauce. drank apple punch, and had green candy! All in all it was a blast, but now that I am past the first week...I am applesauce!!!!
